Chatham University seeks a visionary leader and entrepreneur who is passionate about sustainability to serve as its next Dean of the Falk School of Sustainability. Chatham University is a private, nonsectarian, selective, comprehensive Masters L university that offers undergraduate, master’s level, and doctoral programs to more than 2,200 students. Chatham’s mission expresses a strong commitment to women’s education and leadership, global and intercultural education, and sustainability and the environment. It is home to the Rachel Carson Institute, named for one of its most famous alumnae, Rachel Carson ’29, author and icon in the environmental movement. The Outdoor Classroom is currently looking for energetic, motivated, outdoor individuals to teach our hands-on curriculum to students ages 2 through adult via school programs, daytime and evening naturalist hikes, environmental camps and more both on and off site. Casual, Seasonal and Long-term positions are available.
Oakland Planning and Development Corporation (OPDC) recently collaborated with the Oakland community to complete The Oakland 2025 Master Plan: A vision for sustainable living and mobility, through which we engaged over 500 community members and stakeholders. Oakland 2025′s goal is to guide and support Oakland’s continuing growth as the region’s center of innovation and technology and support the quality of life in Oakland four major residential neighborhoods.OPDC seeks the services of a consultant to lead the planning effort to establish EAH in Oakland.
