Sustainability Director, U Nebraska-Lincoln

Develop and coordinate campus-wide programs of environmental stewardship, energy conservation, sustainability policy, environmental literacy, and community outreach. Coordinate academic, research operations, and student sustainability activities to foster a culture of sustainability among students, faculty and staff. Responsibilities include development of grant funding, corporate partnership, and programs that promote sustainability efforts. Serve as the point-of-contact for all sustainability activities on campus, including annual reporting requirements and other University policies relating to sustainability. In consultation with the Facilities Management and Operations Executive Director, assist in the development and oversight of a budget for the sustainability program. Work with the University Communications and Marketing Departments to increase awareness of UNL’s sustainability initiatives through various media.

Part Time Teacher/Administrator, PuddleStompers

PUDDLESTOMPERS’ mission is to connect the youngest naturalists, ages 2 to 8 years to the open spaces that surround their homes. By providing families with seeds of interest and tools of exploration, PUDDLESTOMPERS seeks to help build the foundation for a lifelong enjoyment and love of the outdoors.
