Each spring, LCS hosts hundreds of children from our host communities for a day of fun and games. As one of LCS’ oldest programs, Kids’ Day has been bringing kids from Medford, Somerville, and Chinatown to campus for over 50 years. Our day-of volunteers partner up and lead a group of 5-10 children around campus to all sorts of activities, including a petting zoo, exciting chemistry experiments, magic shows, and much more! Kids’ Day requires a lot of preparation, and we’re always looking for creative and talented volunteers to help plan for the big day.
For parents: Pre-registration for Kids’ Day strongly recommended. Please check back as the spring approaches for more information about pre-registering online. Additionally, please note that lunch is provided, and we do our best to accommodate requests for children to be placed in the same group.
Planning for Kids’ Day begins in November, so contact us if you want to help design one of Tufts’ biggest community events! Send an email to LCS.KidsDay@gmail.com for more information.
