The Tufts Literacy Corps (TLC) provides one-on-one tutoring to children in Medford and Somerville, and runs several programs that support children’s development through creative projects. Each year, we hire close to 100 students, who staff three core tutoring groups and several student-led initiatives. T.L.C. members are a diverse group of Tufts graduate and undergraduate students, who come from many walks of university life. All share a love of children and a keen desire to help them thrive.
