Pick it up! Volunteers Needed to Clean-Up the Beach

In coordination with the UMASS Boston initiative COASTSWEEP and the Ocean Conservancy’s 25th Annual International Coastal Cleanup, Dawn Quirk, our campus recycling coordinator, is organizing a local clean-up. It will take place this Saturday, September 24, 2010. Volunteers are needed between the hours of 9am-12pm.If you want to lend a hand to get rid of litter, please email dawn.quirk@tufts.edu.
The site is Carson Beach in Dorchester. Take the MBTA Red Line to the JFK/UMASS stop.
