Q. My department needs furniture. When can I visit the warehouse to pick out surplus furniture?

The locked warehouse is located at 550 Boston Avenue. The key may be borrowed by making arrangements with Dawn Quirk. We now hold an open hour during which time an intern is on site to let people in. We aim to be consistent with this open hour but there may be fluctuations considering student availability. Please refer to this calendar for the most up-to-date information.

If you find furniture for your department, please follow these guidelines:

1. Mark the item with a claim tag (which can be found on site).

2. For transport- submit an IDR to the Facilities Department within two days of your claim. Reference the claim tag # on the IDR and thoroughly describe the item and its location within the warehouse. Transport is free of charge for all Tufts departments and organizations.
