Third Annual Tufts New England Case Competition

The third annual Tufts New England Case Competition (TUNECC), held at Tufts Medical School on August 5th, 2015, featured 17 outstanding teams from 17 top schools from Northeast, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Arizona. Represented institutions include: Tufts University, Harvard University, MIT, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, New York University, University of Stony Brook, University of Arizona, Vanderbilt University, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, University of Massachusetts Medical School, Boston University, Boston College, Duke University, Northeastern University and University of Rochester.

Participants were challenged to measure R&D productivity and develop a business strategy to sustain growth for a leading immuno-oncology clinical stage biotech, Juno Therapeutics. Teams were able to compete for prize money totaling $3,500 while developing their problem solving skills. The event featured a panel discussion from leading consulting firms and Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development. The event was capped off with a networking session and mini-career fair featuring consultants and professionals from leading firms.
