Blackberry Enterprise Server
In order to view your Tufts Exchange calendar and access your centrally stored contacts on your Blackberry, you will need to purchase a Blackberry Enterprise Server license. The license is perpetual and is not transferable. The fee is $125.00 payable via IDR (Interdepartmental Requisition).
Without a BES account, you will still be able to access the Tufts Exchange server to view email, but will not be able to see calendars or central contacts.
Before requesting a BES account, you will need to confirm with your service provider (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.) that your data plan will allow BES. In most cases, an “enterprise” level plan is required which could cost as much as an additional $15.00 per month.
