If you are receiving an e-mail daily from ” email@example.com “, this is because you have opted in to the University provided spam blocking service (Proofpoint). Each day you will receive a digest listing all the mail that has been blocked and within the e-mail you have the option to “view” the mail, “release” the mail so that it gets sent to your inbox, “safelist” the address so that proofpoint never again blocks it, or label the message as “not spam”. The proofpoint digest also offers you the option to “Manage My Account”, where you can opt out of the service, or update your “Safe” or “Blocked Senders” lists.
