While using Microsoft Outlook, I’m receiving a pop up message that says.
“Allow this website to configure email@example.com server settings?
Your account was redirected to this website for settings.
You should only allow settings from sources you know and trust.
checkbox – Don’t ask me about this website again.
Allow or Cancel
Mail clients will regularly connect to the Tufts Exchange autodiscover service to check that the client is properly configured. This typically happens in the background, but some mail clients occasionally pop up a warning as shown above. It’s currently unclear why this happens and it is still being investigated.
If you receive this message, please make sure the address points to a Tufts.edu server, then click “Allow”. Clicking Deny will not allow your mail client to connect and check e-mail.
