The Research Cluster or Cluster Computing is the result of connecting many local computers (called “nodes”) together via a high-speed connection to provide a single shared resource. This shared resource allows certain software applications to break tasks down into smaller components and distribute them among the computers. As a result, there is a significant decrease in the amount of time required to process large data and complex tasks.
