How do I find my computer name?


Windows

Windows XP:
Right Click on ‘My Computer’ and select ‘Properties’. Select the ‘Computer Name’ tab and the name is listed in the ‘Computer Name’ field.

Windows 7:
Right Click on ‘My Computer’ and select ‘Properties’. The name is stated in the ‘Computer Name’ field.

Mac

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Sharing.  The computer name appears at the top of the window.
