Mozy Pro setup


Mozy Pro installations are handled by the OIT technicians. To request an installation, please email oit@tufts.edu or call 617 636 0331

Once the installation is completed, you will need to activate the software and setup backup folders.

For Windows

  1. Go to Start->Program Files->MozyPro and click  MozyPro settings
  2. Once MozyPro opens, click on “Use Product Key”
  3. You will be prompted to enter your email address and product key. You will receive the product key with a separate email from Mozy.
  4. Follow the instructions and setup a password

For Mac

  1. Open Spotlight and search for “System Preferences” , or just click on the System Preferences in the dock
  2. Click on MozyPro icon
  3. Once MozyPro opens, click on “Use Product Key”
  4. You will be prompted to enter your email address and product key. You will receive the product key with a separate email from Mozy.
  5. Follow the instructions and setup a password

The software automatically will pick up files and locations to back up. If you want to make sure you have specific folders backed up, you can go into settings, and check folders you need to be backed up in addition.
