Microsoft Live Meeting

Live Meeting is a commercial subscription based conferencing service operated by Microsoft.  It requires that software be installed on a local computer and uses a central server to which all clients connect. Vendors will often host Microsoft Live Meeting events requiring clients to install a Microsoft Live Meeting Client.

Tufts University has implemented a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to allow for safe and easy access to Tufts resources from off-campus. Q: Drive

All faculty and staff have access to a departmental Q: drive. This is a location where programs or departments may share files with one another securely over the network.  The drive is backed up routinely and accessible from on or off campus via Mac, PC, and Linux computer.
