Each year, over 200 students register for David Coleman’s Gospel Choir course, packing into Distler Performance Hall each Friday afternoon and bringing the age-old African American tradition of religious music to life. The for-credit class ends each semester with a concert that is known for motivating guests to their feet, often clapping to the music and even dancing in the aisles.
