Hi! My name is Vio Ta (he/she pronouns), and I am a junior at Tufts University studying Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Biotechnology. I’m interested in the intersection of biomaterials science and chemistry for tissue engineering and drug delivery.

On campus, I help undergraduates obtain research experience through Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) and engage in political organizing with TASC (Tufts Asian Students Coalition). Outside of academics, I enjoy reading (mostly sci-fi and classics), cooking, cycling, and exploring Boston via the T!

This website was made to document various homework assignments and projects for BME 66: Engineering Design Process. My resume can be found at the link here.

A BeReal containing a front camera photo in the top left of the frame, and a back camera photo that occupies the rest of the frame. Vio is pictured in the front camera photo. He is a Southeast Asian androgynous person with short blue hair wearing a lab coat. The back camera photo shows a laboratory workspace and shelves cluttered with various solutions and chemical bottles.
A BeReal of me working in my lab! Working hard or hardly working?
