Canoeing trips are five days long, with four nights of camping. Given the nature of two-person canoes, on-the-water-time tends to be spent bonding with your co-paddler, sharing stories and playing games.
Canoeing trips aim at reaching camp earlier in the day than backpacking trips so that equipment can be taken care of before nightfall. While at camp, groups do a range of activities from swimming to playing games to cooking meals. On TWO canoe trips, students explore the lakes and rivers of New England.
No canoeing experience is required and trips are designed for all levels of ability. All of the group equipment are carried in two person canoes as the group travels to a different waterside campsite every night.
