Service Migration and Downtime.

IMPORTANT SERVICE UPDATE FOR SITES.TUFTS.EDU

From 7am on Thursday, June 19th until 7am on Monday, June 23rd, we will be completing the final migration of our WordPress service to a cloud-based provider.

To ensure that your site’s most current content is transferred, we will implement a content freeze during this period.

• You will be able to view and read your site, but you will NOT be able to make any content changes until the migration is complete.
• If you have important updates, please make them before 7am on June 19th.

Once the migration is complete and verified, content editing will be re-enabled.

Please note:

• Your website address (sites.tufts.edu) will remain the same.
• This migration simply moves our service from in-house servers to a commercial provider and will give you access to more plugins and themes.

Note: The new platform may have different versions of some plugins and themes that you already use, so minor issues with your site’s appearance or functionality may occur. TTS and our vendor will be available to resolve any problems that arise.
