ASSIGNMENTS

  1. “GRAPHIC NOVEL Project”
    Create a sequence of images in C4D. Try for a mix of distant views and close-up details, a try positioning your camera in interesting locations, to give interesting perspectives.

Then lay out your images into a graphic-novel-style arrangement within a single image, using Photoshop. Make your image at least 2000 pixels wide.

You can use the images above (Winsor McCay, Chris Ware) as a style reference. Or you can use on of these template images below — bring it into Photoshop, then add your images to fit, as shown in tutorial video.

If you like, some of the images you use in your layout can come from somewhere besides C4D — that is, some of them can be photographs or drawings or etc, together with you C4D work.
