The de Florez Prize in Human Engineering Winner: Korri Lampedusa

The de Florez Prize in Human Engineering rewards theoretical sophistication and practical application of knowledge to the problems of human engineering.

Korri Lampedusa (E21) is, in the words of her nominator, “the type of student advisors dream of – intelligent, kind, driven, and passionate about making the world a more inclusive place.”  A former United States Presidential Scholar in Design and Tufts BEST Scholar, Korri has served as the web manager for the Society of Latinx Engineers and Scientists at Tufts, as a user experience design intern for Pegasytems, and a research assistant on campus.  She also recently attended a national conference for increasing opportunities for women in technology.
