The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize Winner: Juliette Bichon

Majoring in both Sociology and Psychology, Juliette Bichon (A22) demonstrates true sportsmanship in addition to academic excellence.  She is a true leader, whether on Tufts’ Swimming & Diving Team or on a “Research Team” in class, where she expertly advocated for her peers, and maintained equity by giving an equal voice to everyone.  Her role models are exceptional women in sports who fought for equality with men, such as Billie Jean King.  This passion prompted her to join Tufts’ Student Action, where she is working to promote racial, social, gender and economic justice.

The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize recognizes athletic versatility, academic achievement, and leadership.
