The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize Winner: Serena M. Monteiro

Serena M. Monteiro (A20) is passionate and dedicated to all she does, whether it is serving as the Specialty Recycling Intern for the Sustainability Program at Tufts, mentoring students as a splendid ENV 1 Teaching Assistant, or leading the Tufts Quidditch team. In addition to being a camp counselor and hardworking farm-hand, she studied abroad in Cadiz where she challenged herself through language immersion including outreach to high school students. Always enthusiastic about new ways to divert waste, her skills as an organizer along with her impressive work ethic, will serve her well

The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize recognizes athletic versatility, academic achievement, and leadership.
