Summer Housing 2020

During Summer 2020, Blakeley Hall will open to anyone who needs a place to stay in Boston during the summer, subject to the evolution of measures against the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are the details:

  • Blakeley Hall will open for summer residency on June 1, 2020, and you will have the option of staying for one month, one and a half-months, or two months. A minimum one-month stay is required, and then your cost will be prorated on a biweekly basis after that. This means you can stay in Blakeley until June 30, July 15, or July 31.
  • The summer rent will be $603 per month, which includes all utilities (electricity, water, Internet). However, the kitchen will remain closed to minimize the risk of COVID-19 spread.
  • Students who are currently resident in Blakeley Hall and who wish to stay on in June will be able to stay at the Hall between the end of their current contract and June 1. They would be charged $233 for this bridge period.
  • You would need to provide your own basic living items, such as bed sheets (twin extra long size), pillow, blanket, bath towel, non-halogen lamps, and other furnishings for comfort.

If you are interested, please fill out this form, and the Blakeley Resident Directors will be in touch with you directly.

Please let the Resident Directors know if you have any questions — you can contact them at blakeley-rd@tufts.edu. In the meantime, you can learn more about Blakeley Hall in general at https://sites.tufts.edu/blakeley/.
