On April 9th,2021 we held our 4th Annual Black Maternal Health event in the form of a virtual 4-hour conference. Given the success of the previous three Black Maternal Health Symposiums, we increased success around the virtual 2021 conference with more attendees, speakers, and opportunities to engage in robust dialogue between individuals and organizations working to address maternal health disparities faced by Black women.

The 1st Annual Black Maternal Health Conference took place on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at Tufts University School of Medicine. The event had a total of 286 RSVPs and 226 attendees. In 2019, we had about 200 conference registrants, and in 2020 the number of registrants increased to almost 300 people. The Black Maternal Health Conference has created a one-of-a-kind space to discuss new innovations and how experts in Black maternal health and health disparities are working to end the adverse maternal health outcomes experienced by Black Women in the United States.
