Initiative 1-4: CEEO will support those in supervisor roles to be equitable, ethical, and inclusive managers and leaders. This will be enacted through recommended resources, training, and tools that address transparency, communication, conflict management, as well as bidirectional feedback and accountability structures. Focus will include proactive measures as well as incorporating conflict resolution strategies.
PURPOSE
To provide guidelines to CEEO members who are in supervisory roles for best practices that align with the CEEO DEIJ mission.
COMMITTEE
The DEIJ Committee will:
- Arrange for outside consultants to provide training to those who are in supervisory roles
- Share DEIJ resources and events with CEEO via Slack
- Curate resources to share with CEEO members in supervisory roles
GOALS
- Host one training per academic year for supervisors
- Collect feedback about supervisors in annual CEEO Wellness Survey
- Curate resources for supervisors
