Tom Holt is a CEME Fellow and Partner in the Boston and Washington D.C. offices of K&L Gates LLP, a firm of more than 2,400 lawyers practicing in 48 offices located on five continents. He advises foreign and domestic clients in the development and execution of risk management strategies and has extensive experience representing public and private companies in the prosecution and avoidance of complex civil litigation. Tom is litigation counsel to government officials, various state and local governments, as well as numerous multinational corporations in actions before various tribunals, including the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association. He has also served as member of K&L Gates’ firm-wide management committee. Within CEME’s SovereigNet, Mr. Holt is responsible for helping shape the legal and policy discussion about the future of sovereign wealth funds as they emerge an increasingly important source of cross-border capital and continue to grow in importance as financing sources for national deficits and emerging market countries. Mr. Holt serves on The Fletcher School’s Board of Overseers and its Master of Laws (LL.M.) Advisory Council.
