Cornelia Peterson, DVM, PhD, DACVP is an Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school and graduate studies in vision science at The Ohio State University, she trained in Anatomic Pathology at Johns Hopkins before starting her laboratory as a faculty member at Tufts in 2023. In addition to her laboratory research on ocular pathology and oncology, she works as a diagnostician, evaluating microscopic lesions for veterinary patients and their providers.

Autumn Berlied is a histotechnologist in the CEPOL. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Keene State College in 2022. After graduating, Autumn worked as a histotechnician in a clinical pathology lab in Phoenix, Arizona. However, after a year in the desert, she realized that New England was her true home and moved back.

Autumn is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biological Data Science through Arizona State University, with plans to graduate in 2026. She aims to use this degree to further her career as a biostatistician or research scientist.

Outside of work and studies, Autumn enjoys reading historical non-fiction (with a particular interest in Middle Eastern and Chinese history), playing with or cuddling her energetic husky, and socializing with family and friends.
