Fellowships
Our fellowship program awards yearly fellowships to Tufts faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.

NEHC Seed Grants – the New England Humanities Consortium funds seed grants every academic year in the amount of $5,000. Deadline is typically in October.

Past Funding

Faculty Public Research Mini Grants
Small grants of up to $5000 to support faculty initiatives in the humanities and social sciences to link current crises — in particular, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Black Lives Matter movement — to research and/or teaching at Tufts. These grants are open to both part-time and full-time faculty.

Funds for Virtual Workshops
Funding for virtual workshops for faculty in the humanities (broadly defined) who are in the final stages of completing a book manuscript or other similar major research or creative project of relevance to their academic work at Tufts.
