Up until resigning on July 12, Dr. Rod Schoonover was arguably the top remaining U.S. government official working on climate change and national security. He served for over a decade as a Senior Analyst in the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research and was Director of Environment and Natural Resources at the National Intelligence Council. This is his first public appearance since resigning over the White House suppression of his written testimony before the House Select Committee on Intelligence on climate change and national security.
