COP23 in Bonn: CIERP Attends Climate Negotiation Conference

CIERP participated in the 23rd annual Conference of Parties (COP23) hosted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) in Bonn, Germany from November 6-17. Along with other members from the Tufts delegation, CIERP attended meetings, presentations, roundtables, and climate negotiations with government, industry, and other university leaders on climate change and carbon pricing. A highlight for CIERP was the release of a new report  on Climate Pricing in Practice by the Climate Policy Lab (CPL), directed by Professor Kelly Sims  Gallagher.

Professor Gallagher also gave an interview to the UNFCCC Climate Action Studio at COP23 about the collaborative work the Climate Policy Lab is doing to tackle climate change. Among other things, she spoke about our China policy gap analysis.
