Welcome to the Classical Studies Research Guide. This interactive research guide is designed to introduce print and digital resources provided primarily by Tufts Tisch Library for undergraduate and graduate instruction, as well as for scholarly research. The selected resources, including dictionaries and encyclopedias, literary and language sources, research databases and internet resources, comprise a broad spectrum of topics pertaining to classical culture and its transmission. Books, journal articles, microfilms etc. not available can be generally obtained quickly through Interlibrary Loan.

*The Library of Latin Texts contains texts from the beginning of Latin literature (Livius Andronicus, 240 BC) through the texts of the Second Vatican Council (CE 1962-1965). Covers all the works from the Classical period, the most important patristic works, a very extensive corpus of Medieval Latin literature, as well as works of recentior latinitas, including texts from the Reformation and Counter-Reformation.
