The CAL project began with a Pre-Pilot study, working with two schools in Massachusetts and one school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Following the Pre-Pilot, a Pilot study was conducted, both virtually and in hybrid format due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with schools in Minnesota, Arkansas, and California. These pilots allowed the DevTech Research Group to refine both the curricula and the research tools used for data collection. They also brought ScratchJr to over 250 children and 30 early childhood teachers! To learn more about the pilot programs, check out the videos below.
