April Open House
We invite you to join us at our Open House for Admitted Students. The Open House is designed to give you an inside look at life at Fletcher and all we have to offer. From class visits to small roundtable discussions to current student interactions, the day is full of opportunities for you to meet with our faculty, students and staff.
PLEASE NOTE: The Fletcher School continues to closely monitor circumstances surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Admissions Office staff members are receiving regular advice from Tufts University as we plan our activities for the coming weeks, and Fletcher and Tufts are focused on best practices for maintaining the safety of our community and visitors.
Admitted students can find our latest COVID-19 guidance here. The Admissions Office will contact candidates directly if there are any changes to our daily operations or upcoming events. Please be assured that, should events be canceled, we will offer alternate ways for admitted students to connect with the information they need.
If you have any questions about our plans, or the impact of COVID-19 on Fletcher activities, please feel free to contact our office at fletcheradmissions@tufts.edu or 617-627-3040.
Please be sure to register here
We coordinate our Open House with several peer institutions to allow convenient travel between Boston, New York, and Washington, DC, with our event traditionally coming first. With our Open House scheduled annually for Monday, we are pleased to invite early-arriving Open House attendees to join us for a Reception and Alumni Panel on Sunday evening. For those who are unable to attend on Sunday, we hope you will still consider attending the full day of activities on Monday. Of course, if you are unable to attend the Open House, we welcome you to visit campus at any time.
Accommodations:
Current Fletcher students have graciously offered to host attendees over night in their apartments and dorm rooms for Sunday, April 5. If you are interested in staying with one of our students, you must request an overnight host through the Open House registration form. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate guests of attendees for the overnight host program.
If you select yes, you are confirming your participation in the overnight program. It is important to note accommodations will vary from having your own bed to sleeping on a couch in a sleeping bag, or on the floor on an air mattress. If you select no, you will need to find accommodations on your own.
Please make travel plans that will allow you to arrive no later than 9 pm on Sunday, April 5 to connect with your host. The student host program is not available for those whose travel plans are such that they will be getting to town later than 9 pm.
In addition to the overnight host program, there are several hotels and inns in the area. We also recommend AirBnB as an affordable alternative. Each of these hotels offers a discounted rate if you are visiting Tufts. Ask for the “Tufts rate” when booking to get the discount:
