Why the MALD? In one word: flexibility. The MALD program allows me to combine my two passions: Development Economics, and the Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Programs. Also, I’ll be taking courses related to my other interests, such as public policy decision-making and global health. Ultimately, I get to decide what I take away from my academic experience here at Fletcher.
On a quintessential Fletcher moment: My quintessential Fletcher moment thus far was Asia Night, which consisted of performances from cultures across Asia as performed by members of the student body. It was astonishing to see the variety of talents among Fletcher’s students. Plus, the fun, supportive atmosphere was a great way for us to bond early on in our Fletcher experience.
