Do you want to help future leaders learn to be positive, creative, confident and successful community members? Join our K-6 After School Team!The Banneker Extended Enrichment Program is an academic and social enrichment program committed to quality and to supporting children as they continue on their path of personal growth and education while learning how to become successful contributing members of society.In addition to academics, we encourage children to engage in creative play and in projects to learn about themselves and the world around them through crafted lessons and activities. Students are to work on homework, build good study habits, and explore activities and projects that may lead to lifelong interests and widen their world of possibilities.Students also learn basic conflict resolution and leadership skills. All students are supported and encouraged to feel safe to be themselves as they learn to work within the community while in the program.

Responsibilities include: working with a team to help with snack, recess, games, songs,activities, projects, and social skills.

When: Hours 1-6:30 Mon; 2-6:30 pm Tues-Fri on regular school days*we do have a Tuesday only option as well

Pay: between $15-$24 per hour based on demonstrated classroom management and curriculum experience.

Job Requirements: High School diploma, resume, references CORI, finger printing, experience working with elementary aged children

Qualities we are looking for: Professionalism, problem solving skills, adaptability, enthusiasm, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; participate with students both indoors and outdoors,including walking to the park; communicate with students, co-workers and families; and follow EEC rules and regulations.Pluses include:second language skills (Haitian Creole, Spanish)EEC certification
