English Teaching Flagship (ETF) Scholarship Program:

We are offering 77 grantees a full scholarship of 11 months in Taiwan with a round-trip flight ticket between the US and Taiwan. The program requires 16-20 hours of co-teaching per week in the local elementary or junior high schools or assisting in the internationalization of the universities.

English Teacher Trainer (TEFL Advisor) Program:

We have given this scholarship to 12 grantees during the year 2022-23. We provide 11 months of grant with a round trip flight ticket between the US and Taiwan. The grantees are invited to train the Fulbright English Teaching Assistants, Fellows, Local Taiwanese English Teachers, and international students in universities who are doing part-time teaching assistants in primary schools. There is more detailed information provided in the attached file.

After School Sitter Needed (Winchester)

We are looking for after school care for our two boys, 6 and 8 years old, Wednesday and Thursdays from 2:20-5:00/6:00 (potentially Monday as well) starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Daily pick-ups from our elementary school at 2:20 (you can park at our house and walk/bike to the school as our kids typically ride to school)

2. Staying to play at the playground/play in yard/ afternoon snacks/ drawing / have fun!

Start date: as soon as possible

Seeking Occasional Babysitter in Somerville

Our family (one Tufts alum…so far) is looking for an occasional babysitter for our 3.5 YO and 1.5 YO sons to cover weeknight scheduling conflicts and date nights. The ideal candidate will love the chaos of two young kids but have a willingness to try to keep them on schedule. Ability to pitch in on household stuff (like toy and dinner cleanup) after bedtime is a plus.
Start date: evening of September 19th (5-8ish) with one prior paid trial run at a time convenient to everyone. 
Requirements: COVID vaccinated/boosted; babysitting references; ability to get to our home independently (our home is close to the Somerville Armory & Highland Kitchen) willing to pay for Uber/Lyft for late nights. Tolerant of loving labradoodle.

Nanny/Caregiver Position

This family is searching for a caregiver to help with occasional weekend and weeknights 5-10pm, and if possible, some full or half days for school/daycare holidays or teacher inservice days. Initially will be 2-3 days per month, possibly more depending on availability, and potentially full-time summer 2023. We have two children: a 3 year old who is generally well-behaved and enjoys playing with vehicles and being outside, and a 3 month old. Tasks include playing with our children, feeding snacks or meals, bottle-feeding, and diaper changing. Need to be Covid-vaccinated and boosted and a non-smoker. Prefer CPR certified. Prefer someone to have their own transportation but can also make other arrangements. Location is West Medford but may also need help with pickup from daycare which is only a few blocks from Tufts.
