In this panel, we will be chatting with Chuck Auster, Partner, Runtide Capital, Peter Rothchild, Managing Member, Daroth Capital, and Ben Carson Jr., Cofounder and Partner, Interprise Partners, about what private equity is all about and how it is similar to and different from venture capital.  Chuck, Peter and Ben are all Tufts alumni and distinguished members of the TEC Advisory board. This will be a great time to engage with TEC board members, learn about the field of PE and hear how you can get into the field.

March 29, 2021: Paul English on Entrepreneurship

Come join the students of Ex-College Course Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Startups to hear from Paul English, a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is currently the CTO and co-founder of Lola.com, a Boston-based startup that is completely changing the way we manage expenses and travel. Paul was previously the CTO and co-founder of Kayak (took public then sold to Priceline), co-founded GetHuman (ongoing), Boston Light (sold to Intuit), and Intermute (sold to Trend Micro).  Paul is an investor in dozens of startups and he sits on six nonprofit boards. Most recently he co-founded King Boston, a Boston-based racial justice organization, created to honor the work of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King.
