FALL/WINTER – UNPAID

SUMMARY of RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with manager on initiatives to make the Innovation District a supportive, inspiring urban environment for Boston’s innovators to live, work and play

Support and participate in the information gathering and development for Innovation District initiatives.

Facilitate community outreach and communication around Innovation District initiatives, including presentations, social media and website.

Produce graphics, presentations and copy for Innovation District initiatives, events and activities.

Support event planning and implementation for Innovation District activities

Create original content, update and enhance Innovation District digital platforms, including: website, blog, Facebook and Twitter feed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student with educational background in Planning or Urban Affairs. Work requires an understanding of urban design and community engagement as well as good writing skills. Graphic design skills a plus.

DATES OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: FALL/WINTER Internship Start date immediately but dependent on Intern school schedule. Schedules open to discussion based on student and employer needs up to 35 hours per week.

DURATION: Minimum duration of Internships is 4 – 6 weeks. ALL INTERNS MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED STUDENTS
