Doctoral Fellowships, Environmental and Evolutionary Biology

Doctoral Fellowships and other assistantships available for entering Ph.D.
students in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology at the University of
Louisiana.

The Department of Biology will be awarding University of Louisiana
Fellowships and Louisiana Board of Regents Fellowships to Ph.D. students
entering Fall 2016.  UL Fellows are funded for 3-4 years and have limited
teaching responsibilities, while BoR Fellows are funded for 4 years and
have no formal teaching duties.  Stipends are up to $30,000 per year (with
tuition waiver).  Eligibility requirements include US citizenship (or
permanent residency) or degree from a US institution.  We will also have
teaching and research assistantships available for incoming Ph.D. students.
Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to directly contact

has approximately 80 graduate students and 25 graduate faculty members
conducting research on a wide variety of topics.
