Interested in representing your fellow students in the ENVS Executive Committee?

by Sara Gomez Garcia on August 16, 2017

Each year, we recruit two student representatives for the Environmental Studies Executive Committee for the upcoming academic year. This is a great opportunity to have a voice in important decisions pertaining the program and to get to know affiliated faculty.

The following criteria for candidacy apply:

  1. Students must be either a junior or a senior in the academic year in which they will sit on the committee
  2. Students must be available to meet the 3rd Friday of every month at 12:00-1:30 pm
  3. Students must be willing to participate in the meetings as active members, providing feedback that will represent fellow students in the major

If you are interested in being a student representative for 2017-18, please send Dr. Sara Gomez a note (max. 250 words) explaining why you think you would make a good candidate to represent your fellow students. These positions will remain open until filled.
