Intern for Small Acts of Sustainability
At Small Acts for Sustainability (SAS), we work to empower, educate, and engage women and youth from marginalized communities domestically and globally. Our focus is on three crucial areas: education, menstrual hygiene, and mental health. We would love to have interns join us and have opportunities for them to get involved in our research and educational materials. For students seeking experience with a nonprofit and who are passionate about social impact this may be a great fit. Interns in the past have focused on research for our health-related projects, designed materials on toxic chemicals in period products as well as developed content for our in development mobile health app. Interns work on our social media platforms, to create awareness videos, advance our website, and more. As a cross-functional and tight-knit organization, we are open to having interns work and experience many facets of the behind the scenes work we do. We are especially excited about those who bring their curiosity to advance our mission forward and would be happy to answer any question students may have about our opportunities. We are looking to expand our environmental and sustainability projects and would love to host students from your school.
Warm wishes,
Fiona
