Firefly Conservation Research (Spring 2022)

by Maya J. Sze on November 18, 2021

We are looking for students with GIS experience to do independent research projects or internships on U.S. firefly conservation. Participants will learn to use species distribution models to help identify suitable habitat for species with sparse distributional data. The output of this project will be used by local conservation experts to focus future field surveys for threatened firefly species. Some experience with R is helpful, but not required.
