Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO) announces a job opening for Certification Program Assistant Manager. The Certification Program Assistant Manager role leads an assigned sub team within the wider Certification Team, which includes performing supervisory duties for Certification Specialist and Program Assistant staff. This position plans and organizes quality review work, prioritization of client files, supervises, develops, and supports review staff while providing customer service and working collaboratively with other Certification and Inspection Team Leads and PCO Leadership. This position is primarily remote office-based with some very limited travel exceptions. The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in the following areas:
- people and program management
- familiarity with organic compliance and organic certification
- knowledge of organic standards
- agriculture and/or food science processing
- organic/regulatory inspections
We are looking for a well-organized and self-motivated person to join our team-oriented environment at PCO. This is a full telecommuting position.
