Post Grad Fellowship: Spirituality, Social Justice, Leadership
Greetings! I am reaching out to share information on a fully funded fellowship opportunity for recent college graduates.
Do you know any graduating seniors or recent alumni who might be interested in a service year? Grace Year is an Episcopal Service Corps program focusing on the three pillars of leadership, justice, and spirituality. Grace Year gives recent college graduates the ability to learn and grow in an interfaith community in Millbrook, NY.
Each year five fellows are invited to live together in an intentional community in Millbrook. The fellows serve the community by working at local nonprofits and spend time reflecting on their experience through the lenses of spirituality, social justice and leadership. Our goal is to assist fellows in clarifying their values, deepening their spirituality, and learning professional skills to sustain them for a lifetime of transforming leadership.
Fellows work for 32 hours each week in the areas of immigration advocacy, youth empowerment, food justice, affordable housing, disability services and sustainability. Weekly seminars provide opportunities for learning about different spiritual paths, servant leadership and community organizing, vocation and discernment. Housing, food, and transportation are provided and fellows are also given a monthly stipend and a relocation bonus at the end of their term.
We are currently accepting applications for next year’s cohort (2022-2023).
If you have any graduating seniors or recent alumni who might be interested in Grace Year, would you be kind enough to share the attached flyer with them? Women, people of color, LGBTQ people and people of all faiths, or none, are encouraged to apply.
If you or any interested students have any questions, please feel free to email hello@graceyear.org or visit our website http://graceyear.org/
Many thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Alison Quin
