Species Interactions Research | Utah State University
We seek a summer research technician to join a project examining the role of
species interactions in determining the impact of climate change on plant
communities. The position is in Peter Adler’s lab
(https://qcnr.usu.edu/labs/adler_lab/index) at Utah State University in
Logan, UT, with field work in eastern Idaho sagebrush steppe vegetation.
Primary responsibilities include mapping individual plants in permanent
plots, and digitizing these maps using ArcGIS software. Important
qualifications include a strong background in plant taxonomy, and a strong
back. The position could start as early as May, 2018, and runs through
August, 2018, but start and end dates are flexible. Pay is $12.50 per hour.
