This site (https://equityresearch.tufts.edu) will become an interactive webpage in September, 2020. You will be able to pose questions and get easily interpreted facts, graphs, and maps.
In the meantime, this temporary site provides information about the project and timely findings from our national survey.
About the Research Group
The Research Group on Equity in Health, Wealth and Civic Engagement brings together researchers from across Tufts University to discuss and investigate aspects of equity and inequity in the United States and the world.
A signature project so far is a national representative survey of Americans that we conducted in May-June 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Scholars from across Tufts contributed to designing and analyzing that survey, and this site will present the data in accessible way. We intend to expand and refresh this dataset and also conduct other collaborative research projects.
The research has been funded by Tufts University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Research as one of several such initiatives. Tufts’ Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life funded the data visualization tool that will be housed here.
