Nunchi Health Fellowship
The Nunchi Fellowship is a selective program, advised by experts at Harvard Medical School, where students engage in a series of interactive mental health workshops. All sessions are virtual, and participants commit to attending weekly sessions for 7 weeks. The community-centered program is designed to support students with immigrant or international backgrounds, including first- and second-generation Americans, as well as DACA and undocumented students. However, all students are encouraged to apply!
Our Fellowship Team believes in the power of self-reflection and peer support for others in mental healing. Throughout the Fellowship, participants will learn about various mental health topics, gain a better understanding of their mental health journey, and support 5-6 other students through collective healing. Graduated fellows emerge as mental health leaders, becoming well-equipped to facilitate future fellowships.
The Fellow Application for Spring 2025 is open until Friday, January 31. Our Spring 2025 Fellowship will take place from the week of February 24 to the week of April 14.

Pre-Med CONNECT: Undergraduate Spring Experience (March 17-21) 2025 Application
Submit by: February 9, 2025 at 11:59 PM
The Center for Science Education (CSE) and Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) present an opportunity for Tufts first years and sophomores to participate in the Pre-Med CONNECT Pilot Program.
Pre-Med CONNECT is designed as a short-term immersion program for undergraduate students during Tufts Spring break week. The program provides an immersive experience in clinical simulation and human anatomy with fun hands-on activities, while also offering group advising and coaching sessions for health professions to develop career awareness and a sense of belonging in pre-heath. Students can expect to finish the program with the tools to build a concrete plan to pursue medical careers and to grow social and professional networks in the pre-health track.
First generation college students and/or students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
After the immersion, undergraduate students may later choose to apply for other related pre-health and mentoring opportunities, such as volunteering at Tufts Medical Center, or the STEM+M CONNECT: Undergraduate Summer Internship & Mentorship Experience which involves clinical observerships at TMC and mentoring STEM+M CONNECT high school students during the summer. The STEM+M CONNECT program intends to help bridge key academic transition points (high school to college, college to medical school or graduate school), particularly for students such as first-generation college students and low-income students.
To be eligible for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
-Be a current first year or sophomore
-Be in a pre-med track, or be interested in a health professions career or a STEM career around biomedical research (depending on your current or future interests)
-No previous experience in health or STEM related fields is required.
If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact diren.pamuk@tufts.edu.
