September Welcome!

Welcome to the 2013-2014 Admissions Blog!  Although there’s no firm start to each year’s admissions cycle, the day when all our students — first year and continuing — return, seems like an appropriate kick-off.

And what can you expect from the blog this year?  Mixed in with the usual admissions news and tips, we’ll have several new features:

• “Consult Christine” — in which Christine tackles the questions that have been flowing into the office each week, possibly answering your own question before you even had a chance to think of it.
• Five-year Updates from the Class of 2008
• New alumni updates, from the Class of 2013
• And some other things that I have in my head but I don’t want to write down, in case they don’t quite work out.  😉

Meanwhile, for those of you who are new to the blog, I hope you’ll make yourself at home.  Check out past posts by selecting a category, scrolling through the archives by date, or clicking on a tag — options you can find just to the left of this post.  Also to the left is the option to subscribe to the blog.  Choose your preferred medium, including email.  Plus, we usually link to the blog from the Admissions Facebook page and Twitter feed.

The start of a new academic year is always exciting, and I’m looking forward to sharing some Fletcher excitement with you.  Welcome!
