Call for Visiting Scholars from Russia and Ukraine

The Russia and Eurasia Program at The Fletcher School is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its 2022-2023 Visiting Scholars Program. Scholars from Russia and Ukraine are invited to apply, with the ultimate goal of networking, building relationships, and exchanging ideas to promote the rule of law, regional peace, and security, and to develop a better understanding of international relations.

“Scholars from Russia and Ukraine whose backgrounds draw in expertise from academia, the think tank industry, and the public sector, will have the extraordinary opportunity and resources to engage with their peers on a range of issues tackling regional and global peace and security,” said Chris Miller, Assistant Professor of International History and Co-Director of the Russia and Eurasia Program at The Fletcher School.

The 2022-2023 Visiting Scholars Program requires a three to nine-month commitment during the academic year, where scholars will focus on topics such as comparative constitutional law, international arbitration, public international law, Russian foreign policy, Ukrainian foreign policy, and U.S.-Russia relations. Scholars will also be provided opportunities to instruct courses, lectures, and seminars, and produce a working paper for publication.

Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
