The Sino-Russia Relationship: A Security Perspective

April 3, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Over recent years Russia and China have forged a security alliance that is perceived as a counter to U.S. influence in the region. This raises questions regarding their cooperation or lack thereof on nuclear proliferation, arms sales and other security matters.

The Fletcher China Language and Culture Club will explore this relationship with Dr. Weitz, Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the Hudson Institute. Dr. Weitz’s current research includes regional security developments relating to Europe, Eurasia, East Asia and U.S. foreign and defense policies. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University.

Lunch will be provided. Please register to attend here.
